Women’s soccer is entering a new era in Portland.

Backed by COLLiDE Sport, the group behind the Portland Pickles and Portland Bangers FC, our city’s USL W League franchise will kick off in May 2026 as part of the Northwest Division.

The USL W League is the nation’s premier pre-professional league, developing the next generation of players while bridging the gap between college and the pros. With over 90 teams across the country, the league is expanding opportunities to play, watch, and work in the women’s game … and now Portland will be part of that movement.
