PORTLAND, OR — The Portland Bangers are closing out their incredible inaugural season in style, competing in the Pacific Northwest Keg Cup this Wednesday, July 9, against regional rivals Ballard FC. The match will cap off a first-year campaign that saw every single game sell out, with fan energy and support that blew expectations out of the water.
The Bangers have taken Portland by storm, bringing rowdy, joyful soccer culture to life on and off the pitch. From packed supporter sections to booming chants echoing through the University of Oregon Portland campus, the vibe has been undeniable all season long.
Team Owner & President Alan Miller shared his appreciation for the Portland community and the University of Oregon, expressing deep gratitude for embracing the team and turning this first season into something unforgettable. "We set out to build something different, fun, local, passionate—and the community more than showed up," said Miller. "This is just the beginning."
